1.Name of the Collaboration

The name of the Collaboration is “Nankai University Nankai-Neoma Joint Business and Innovation School at TEDA”, having its Principal Office in 23th Hongda Street TEDA, Tianjin, China.

2.Purpose of the Collaboration

The aim of this joint education project is to make full use of the strength of the two parties and to make joint efforts in the following four respects:

Ÿto produce high-quality graduates with all-round abilities to meet the requirements of Students’ global development through the delivery of double degree awards;

Ÿto enable the further internationalisation of NU and NBS education programmes through the growth of sustainable, high quality learning opportunities and environments;

Ÿto enhance the global reach and reputation of NU and NBS and to grow and diversify their student communities;

Ÿto enable NBS and NU to initiate and conduct joint research activity which will positively impact the social and economic development of both Parties and nations.

4. Number of Students Intake

Students in the Double Bachelor Degree Programme will be enrolled through National entrance examination of China, and the intended intake of students is 300 per year (in quota), with the exception of the first and the second year for which the intended intake will be 100 and 150 respectively (in quota).

Students in the Double Master Degree Programme will be enrolled through National post-graduate entrance examination of China, and the intended intake of students is 180 per year (in quota), with the exception of the first and the second year for which the intended intake will be 30 and 60 respectively (in quota).

5. Joint management

The Joint School is governed by a Board of Directors composed of seven members: four appointed by NU and three appointed by NBS. Representative appointed by NU serves the chairman and representative appointed by NBS serves the vice-chairman.

NU appoints a representative as director of the Joint School and NBS appoints a representative as vice-director.
